On September 23-25, 2024 the experts from the National Information Center for Academic Recognition and Mobility (ArmENIC) together with the representatives from Yerevan State University (YSU) and the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia (NUACA) participated in the training on the Recognition of Refugees’ Qualifications organized in the framework of the Council of Europe’s grant project “European Qualifications Passport for Refugees” and grant project “Enhancing National Mechanisms of Recognition of Refugees’ Qualifications/NATREQ-RQ”. The training was conducted by the Council of Europe expert involved in the project in the premises of the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs of the Länder in the Federal Republic of Germany, Bonn, Germany.
During the training session the participants had the chance to gain theoretical and practical knowledge on the methodology of the recognition of refugees’ qualifications participating also as observers in the evaluation sessions.
The aim of the training was to contribute to the development of procedures for the recognition of refugees’ qualifications in the Armenian HEIs as well as preparing the representatives of YSU and NUACA to conduct evaluation sessions together with the experts from ArmENIC.
