ArmENIC plays a central role in facilitating the recognition of Armenian qualifications internationally and being part of the ENIC-NARIC networks ensures that Armenian educational qualifications are fairly recognised and understood in other countries.

For that purpose ArmENIC provides  up-to-date information about the Armenian education system, qualifications framework, and accredited institutions. It helps foreign counterparts (such as universities, employers, and credential evaluation agencies) understand Armenian qualifications and assess their comparability.

For individuals and upon their request the center can issue an advisory statement that describes  status of institution, level, of programe, mode and duration of studies, academic and professional rights. Additionally, ArmENIC provides information on authenticity of Armenian qualifications if it is possible to check.
