On 19-23 February 2018 in the framework of BOOST project /Boosting Armenian Universities’ Internationalisation Strategy and Marketing/, 25 representatives from 5 Armenian universities (Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan, American University of Armenia, Shirak State University, Vanadzor State University, Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas), the Ministry of Education and Science and the National Information Center for Academic Recognition and Mobility participated in the trainings hosted by the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), Barcelona.

The ArmENIC was presented by the Director Gayane Harutyunyan and the Credential evaluator Nazani Gevorgyan.

The aim of the training was to develop the participants’ skills and abilities in the development of the internationalization strategy plan. During the training courses the participants get acquainted with the mechanisms and methods of the internationalization strategy plan development and used them during different work groups. At the end of the training each higher education institution presented its timetable for the development of the internationalization strategy plan.

Kristine Tsaturyan, the Head of the International Cooperation Department of Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan presented the draft version of the national strategy plan for internationalization developed by the working group.

The participants of the training will conduct similar trainings for other participants of the project in Armenia.
