On October 16 and 18, 2024 the experts from the National Information Center for Academic Recognition and Mobility (ArmENIC) together with the representatives from Yerevan State University (YSU) and the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia (NUACA) conducted evaluation sessions for recognition of YSU and NUACA applicants’ qualifications in the framework of the Council of Europe’s grant project “Enhancing National Mechanisms of Recognition of Refugees’ Qualifications/NATREQ-RQ”.

The aim of the evaluation sessions was to find out whether the applicants have the appropriate qualifications giving access to higher education in Armenia. The qualifications submitted for the evaluation were from Syria and Bangladesh. As a result, both applicants were able to substantiate their education, and they were issued “Background Paper” document which contains personal information as well as information on obtained qualifications, language skills and work experience.
