The year 2024 is coming to an end, and ArmENIC, remaining true to its tradition, organized a seminar for the Armenian higher education institutions on the recognition of foreign qualifications. It is expected that in 2025, developments in higher education will be directly related to the technological developments, transforming the needs of society and the economy and setting new requirements for the workforce. In this context, the role of lifelong learning and microcredentials and their recognition are of particular importance.
The seminar was held at Yerevan State University and was attended by 36 representatives of 18 universities. The agenda consisted of a theoretical part, which substantiated the need and importance of recognition, educational diversity, recognition in the European region, the connection between quality and recognition, assessment and recognition procedures and main steps. During the seminar, a large number of examples were presented to the participants for the practical work.
