The 31st Annual Joint Meeting of the ENIC-NARIC Networks was held at the University of Naples Federico II, Italy from 23-25 June 2024. The meeting gathered around 150 representatives from national information centers for recognition. Three members of ArmENIC participated in the meeting. This year’s meeting was a jubilee one, as it was the 40th anniversary of the NARIC networks as well as the 40th anniversary of CIMEA – the Italian Information Center. During the conference, the Lisbon Recognition Convention Committee, ENIC Bureau and NARIC Advisory Board as well as ELCORE Working group presented their performed activities and the upcoming initiatives. The program of the conference consisted of 12 workshops on recognition of refugees’ qualifications, transnational education, automatic recognition, recognition through digitalization. One of the workshops was on the CoE projects implemented by the Council of Europe for the national information centers of non-EU countries. During this workshop, the head of ArmENIC presented the center’s project on Fraud in Education conducted in 2023. The impact of the artificial intelligence on education was also discussed during the annual meeting.
