On June 28, 2024 the meeting of the Council of Europe’s grant project “Enhancing National Mechanisms of Recognition of Refugees’ Qualifications/NATREC-RQ” took place. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the upcoming works planned in the framework of the project and timeline.

In particular, the participants discussed the main content and sections of the recognition manual for the higher education institutions (HEIs) of the Republic of Armenia, as well as the deadlines. The manual will be bilingual, Armenian and English, which will foster wider distribution and use of the manual.

Moreover, ArmENIC’s team presented to the participants the purpose and approximate period of the trainings planned in the HEIs in the framework of the project, as well as the possibility of participation of the representatives of the HEIs involved in the project in the training on the methodology of the European Qualification Passport for Refugees (EQPR) implemented by the Council of Europe.

The representatives of the HEIs involved in the project once again emphasized the importance of the trainings and regular cooperation with ArmENIC. At the end of the meeting, the participants fixed the date of the next meeting, during which the division of work for the development of the recognition manual will be done.
