ArmENIC is again one of 5 ENIC centers that won a grant from the Council of Europe which aims to contribute to the implementation of the mission of ENIC centers by promoting cooperation and mobility in the field of education, as well as ensuring fair, transparent and non-discriminatory recognition of higher education qualifications.
In the framework of the grant, ArmENIC will implement a project to enhance the institutional capacities by developing a recognition manual for the Armenian higher education institutions (HEIs). The Manual will address the recognition issues in HEIs with the specific focus on the refugees’ qualifications.
Moreover, the Manual will foster the compliance of the institutional recognition procedures with the quality assurance processes following ESG2015 and ensure that coherent institutional policies on recognition are based on the principles and procedures outlined in the LRC.
The project will be an asset for HEIs to establish more consistent approach to the recognition of refugees’ qualifications based on the international best practice.
